Favorite place to be active: Any running trail, dog park, or place where I can play with my husband.
Role model and why: Bree Wee! I heart Bree. She’s given me some great advice, and it’s really great to watch her journey. Also, my dad and grandpa.
Ideal weekend: 75 degrees and sunny! Long run or ride with my girlfriends, some time on the wakeboard boat relaxing with the hubs and dogs.
Best or worst race story: Probably going around a slick corner at HalfMax 2006 and nearly getting shot over my handle bars when my rear tire blew out which high-sided my bike. Or, getting pulled off the course at KS 70.3 last year with three miles to go because of some dang tornado that never happened.
Proudest moment: Finishing Ironman in 2007. Oh, and buying my house at age 20.
Best training or race advice: Respect the distance.

Favorite pre-workout/race meal: A bagel with peanut butter and banana.
Sport I'd most like to try: Base jumping.
